DWH Archive Name: B__ASSET_ROOM

Contains the definition of rooms where University assets may be stored. Rooms are identified by a unique room tag number whose bar code is placed at the entry to the room and scanned when doing a room inventory.

This ID is the key to the Asset-Room file where the physical location of the room is identified (typically by building code and room number). Most rooms have a barcode with this Room Tag Number on it affixed to the doorway. When taking physical inventory, the room tag is scanned followed by the barcodes of the assets within the room.
